hi everyone i have 2 XFX 7850 2GB cards and 3 23inch monitors
mobo is a 990FX board and the cpu is a 8350 overclocked to 4.5

from what i understand crossfire dose not add to the gpu ram so my crossfire will still be at 2gb

i dont plan to use eyfinity at all( only thing i can see crossfire being good for) i want to game on the center monitor and use the side two for netflix, IM, gmail .etc so is it better to crossfire or to have my center monitor on one card so 2gb can be dedicated to gaming monitor and the other 2gb can be used by the other two monitors

CF does increase the performance of your gfx system by as much as 80%. So, don't think it is only good for Eyefinity. Although, the HD 7850 might be a bit on the low side for keeping low frame times and no micro-stutter. If you are going to go with 2 cards, try CF first. If gameplay is stutter-free, then that would be the way to go.
