Crossfire question .

I currently have a Radeon 7870 graphics card and know its pretty much outdated yet it has ran almost every game I played recently on high-max settings. I was thinking of doing a crossfire with it and a 390x and was wondering if it would be good for a 1440 monitor? I dont know much about crossfire but I do know it doesnt really make a huge difference so can anyone tell me if these 2 cards would be good together?

You can't CF two cards based on different chips, I believe. You'd need another Pitcairn-based GPU.

Get a new card and sell the 7870 would probably be my advice.

just get the 390x and sell the 7870. you cant crossfire them. a 390x is good on its own though.
