Crossfire R9 270 issues

While running a game (Shadow of Mordor), using MSI Afterburner to monitor the GPUs.

GPU1 Usage stays at around 30%
GPU2 Usage goes 90%+

My FPS ranges from 20 ~ 70

dont see anything wrong.. thats how crossfire or sli works

both gpu dont always reach 90% in all games.. some games arent optimised for crossfire or sli

update your drivers to 14.11.2 ..it might fix the issue

in general? no. can't say much about CF but in SLI the load distribution will be pretty much even between two GPU even if the gpu usage is low. personally i have been using SLI setups for more than a year (this is my first SLI setup to be exact) and it already exceed my expectation in term of game support and stability.

That's what I thought. I figured they would both balance out the load. Not one take most of the load.

Yea, same thing though. Only if I play the game in Full-screen does both usage balance out...

maybe you need updated drivers. i heard that AMD will releasing new drivers that will come with a lot of fix and new feature on monday or teusday. they even give special name to it as AMD Omega Drivers.

the info has been leaked. initially AMD intend to make some sort of surprise but there always those that like to break NDA.
