Hello guys, hope you are doing well. My gaming pc is rocking a r9 270x 2gb edition... I think its time for a gpu upgrade but i can't deside... It will be better if i buy a second R9 270x or maybe sell it and get an r9 390? Crossfired r9 270x seemed to donimate r9 290x... I cant deside...Do all games allow me to run in crossfire?
*EDIT* : Maybe get an gtx 970? Can i have an r9 270x together with gtx 960?

Solution
you cant have graphics cards with different cores in sli let alone different companies, but i would get another 270x and make sure to have a 650 watt psu at least and a compatable crossfire mobo, if you decide not to do this then get a 290x for less than 300 or gtx 970 and overclock the crap out of it.

also consider the r9 390 that is a nice one

Well my psu is a corsair vs series 650w... My motherboard is msi 990fxa gd-65..If you consider all these then comparing those cards ( XFire r9 270x, r9 390 , r9 290x , gtx 970) tell me which one should win on :
1) Total price ( if i need to upgrade psu and mobo )
2) Performance on single monitor 1600x900
3) performance on QHD / 4k

performance would probably be best with the crossfire 270x and it would be cheapest to upgrade but the long term cost might be expensive, also performance at 4k would take a hit because of the 2GB of vram
