Hi everyone,

I want to know if it is beneficial to go Crossfire 6850s with my current setup. I am mainly worried about not getting much of a performance gain out of adding the second card. Would my current hardware bottleneck the two 6850s or should I have plenty of headroom? I can easily OC if I need to (up to 3.8).

A 6850 crossfire is a very good option.Personally for $300 I would go for either a GTX570,GTX560ti or a 6950 but that's just.

Your i7 should not bottleneck it at all and you will be fine.Although O.C.ing will only improve performance.

I forgot to mention I have a 6850 already and I was thinking about getting another one instead of buying a whole new card. Not sure which route to go, haha.

Well if you already have one you should just get another one for crossfire.
