Crossfire/SLI question

Guys, i'm just curious. Not planning on adding another card for SLI/Crossfire but i was wondering if someone had a list off all cards that can be crossfired or SLI'd.

And secondly, why doesn't your graphics memory double when you add another card in crossfire/sli, for example if you have 2 1gb cards, why is it still 1gb instead of 2 and can you have different data rates like GDDR5 and GDDR3 for example in crossfire/SLI?

Your first question however takes a bit more doing and I can't be bothered as that would be quite a list these days.

Thanks for that, the first question, i was being to generic with first question. I just need all the latest cards listed. Not older cards such as GTX 280, 9800 GT, HD 4870 etc.

Both camps tend to allow multi GPU from the mid range upward, so you would be better off just checking the cards that are in your budget range.
