Crossfire ?

So i have a 7870 gigabyte oc version and i was wondering should i upgrade to crossfire , i do a lot of gaming , but i want to do something with my pc, something like game design .... i wonderd what would be the best decision to make....

Currently, what is running slow. e.g. Is there a particular game that's lagging? I personally don't think upgrading to crossfire will help you at all with game design.

Also please post the rest of your sepcs. e.g. CPU case. motherboard and most importantly PSU.

Well i dont get lag almost at all but its because im running at 1366x768 rez because of my crappy monitor :) , im upgrading in a few weeks to a full hd monitor , some ideas what monitor to get?

Personally I would avoid going crossfire in this case, definitely no point until you have at least 1920x1080. Even then the 7870 should be enough to run everything on high.

why avoid crossfire? i mean i wont do it . i want to know just for general knowledge. i mean its big enough good ventilation .
