Which GPU setup would you all go with considering performance right out of the gate and future upgradeability (ie a 2nd HD7950 in a year or so)?

CrossFired Gigabyte Radeon HD 7950 3GB or a Single Gigabyte Radeon HD 7970 GHz Edition 3GB

Thank you in advance!

Crossfire HD 7950s will definitely outperform and outlast a single HD 7970. An HD 7950 can overclock fairly well, close/on par with the HD 7970, and even @ stock the gap isn't too large. At around $300 USD, it's IMO the best bang-for-your-buck GPU.
