Crossfireing on the Gigabyte 970A-UD3P Motherboard?

I was think about crossfireing on the Gigabyte 970A-UD3P Motherboard, but i checked the specification and it said that the second 16x slot ran at 4x speed. would this affect the dual gpu in any way?
