So i was wondering how would you setup crossfire when the 2 x16 slots are 3 slots away from each other?

And the GPU i might buy aswell since i have an Freesync monitor:

Any current amd gpu does crossfire over the pcie slot. However don't go multi gpu when you can just get a single faster card even if the theoretical combined performance of lower cards would surpass the higher end card.

Okay, that's all i need

I understand by getting an better single gpu is better than 2 slower ones. but the prices are a bit left and right in our country. so i might can go for 2 mutli gpu cards for a better value than an single gpu, but that is something i have to figure out myself

Considering that the games released this year that have a positive performance gain without issues on crossfire can be counted on both hands I would say not worth it at all.
