Crossfiring reference and custom?

Crossfiring a reference and a custom rx 480, is possible? I got a reference 480 8gb, and just purchased a nitro sapphire 8gb rx 480 for a switch, I don't really like the noise the reference do. Is it possible to crossfire these 2cards? I'm selling the reference but just curious in case I can't find a buyer. Thanks

No i would crossfire them. Put the Sapphire card as the main GPU. And the reference as the second graphics card....

Yes they will crossfire however you are limited by whichever card is slower. So if the Nitro is factory overclocked it will be downgraded a bit to the speed of the reference. It likely makes minimal difference.
