Ney but only because it's just too much for that CPU unless you are getting it for(next to) nothing. Any B450 MB would do just as good.

I already have the board. Just wondering if it would be strong enough board for the newer CPU's pretty sure theres more than plenty power phases.

Not sure which of us is mistaken but I think the C6E is an x370 board.
Checking CPU-z comes back with x370. Is the chipset at all going to be a problem? Not sure of the differences between x370 x450

My bad, it's x370 chipset but VRM and everything else is just as good. Chipset is actually not most important thing but only memory slot topology is. Still allows for decent memory speeds.
