[SOLVED] Crosshair V Formula-Z bios freezing issues

Hey all, so I've recently been interested in overclocking my FX-8350 so naturally I was getting into the bios today. After a few minutes of changing some settings, the bios freezes. Every. Single. Time. I flashed the bios through AI Suite and while it successfully updated, I'm still having the same problem. Any insight would be appreciated.

It's a very old board , probably starting to fail.

bios freezes can be either from unstable ram overclock or unstable cpu overclock...
