Pc doesn't post or boot.
Everything turns on.
Gpu fans spin, i can feel hot air coming from the aio radiator.
But nothing boots and i just get the qcode 50 every time.
I've tried using memok to load into bios with no luck.
I've tried the CMOS button, I've taken the battery out to try and reset the bios.
No booting, no posting.
Set up
AMD 9590
R9 290x
2 8g sticks of DDR3 kingston fury hyperx
Samsung 860 500g ssd
Antec TPQ-1200 psu
Corsair AIO cooler
I bought a new gigabyte 1080 and was trying to install that.
I just uninstalled my gpu drivers.
Powered down.
Unplugged the psu.
Uninstalled the r9
Installed the 1080
As i plugged my psu in i heard a slight crackle.
I'm hoping nothing is fried.
Another thing of note.
When i first tried to install my 1080 i didn't uninstall the drivers first. And the 1080 didn't seem to work at all. The fans were spinning but nothing on the screen and the gigabyte logo on the side didn't light up.
Anyway, after that i looked online and it said to uninstall the old drivers.
So i swapped gpus again, uninstalled drivers, swapped gpus again, then i had the code 50 issue, put the r9 back in and that's where i am now.
Qcode 50, no idea about that
And new gpu seeming to not work before i had the code 50 problem.
I hope someone can help.
I'm going to give my ram sticks to my coworker tomorrow to test them out for me.
Hopefully the only issue i have is a fried ram stick.
Anyway, if anyone has any ideas, I'll try them before i head to work tomorrow.
Also, i did test each team stick separately in the mobo. So i don't think it's a situation where just 1 is toast.
