Yes you can run it with a R9 270 but it runs better with R9 270X and another R9 270X.
I would get a decent 750W power supply like EVGA 750W B2 psu.

However, i don't really recommend crossfiring R9 270X. Just get a R9 290 or R9 290X. You would need a decent 550W psu.

the comparison needs to factor in what 270x you use a 2gb or a 4gb as a pair of 2gb 270x will not be better than one 290x with 4gb depending on resolution

any 270x can crossfire with another 270x regardless of brand but they will only run as fast as the weakest card in the pair and you will need to post the rest of your build te get an accurate power estimate

without the rest of the specs though i can tell you the cards alone will need around 350 to 400 watts but again without the system specs we cant tell you a total

cards of the same model 270x for example can vary from different manufacturers on speeds usually not much but if for example you got an oc version which was faster than the one your using now it would only be able to run at the speed of the slower card and your should be okay with your psu with 2 270x for now but would look into getting a 750 asap and do not oc anything until you get a better psu

i know your set on two 270x and by all means go for it but that mobo is better suited for a single card so a 290x would be the best choice but again its your preference and I myself have went from 1 270x to 2 then 2 780 classifieds now 2 290x
