Nope. That's a (pair of) permanent type(s). Neither "artifact" nor "creature"
is a creature type.

It's the subtype, correct; "creature type" is a subtype, as is 'land type' or
'enchantment type'.

Only three of the Arcbound creatures have creature types; two are Golems and
one is a Slith. The others have no creature type at all. Ornithopter also has
no creature type.
And to return to your original question: creatures that have no creature
(sub)type can't share a creature type with any other creature, so don't put
your Crown of Ascension on an Ornithopter, for example.
