CRT monitor show eMachines icon

I booted up my new PC only to find this icon on my CRT monitor. (To be honest it a bear bone case my mom order for me from CPUtopia.com) Did CPUtopia.com give me a eMachines motherboard or what?

That logo presumably disappears once Windows starts !

I think your analysis is right -- the logo is somewhere in the mobo BIOS and was presumably put there by whoever the e stands for (which may not be e-Machines-). May be possible to stop it appearing by going through the BIOS screens (press Del as the computer boots) and looking for something like quick boot.
