So someone is selling me this ram for about 30$. But then I was puzzled when I saw on the pic that it's DDR3L UDIMM. All I know was I should buy RAMs with the same frequency with the one that I have. I assume the two rams that I have, which are Kingston and Samsung, are ddr3 not ddr3L. I'm not sure also if they're UDIMM or not since I haven't checked it yet.

So is it compatible? Or am I gonna encounter issues with it? Also, will it be worth buying that brand? I'm not familiar with it as well :??:

By the way, here are my pc specs if these could help:
mobo : Asus H81M-E
CPU: Intel i3-4130

Yes it will at default run at 1.35V, the 1.5V is possible but also the max for this ram.Since the other sticks operate at 1.5V see i no problems there.

That would be nice if possible before buying, otherwise i/we cannot really tell if this is truly going to work with the other sticks.

An artikel,

look at "Just Adding More Dram". Just to show why it is not certain that it will work, but testing is the only way to really know.
Hard to say it will work.

-One you are mixing different brands which can lead to troubles,
-two if the ram is working at hgher than 1.5V can it be a problem with the latest addition
The "L" in that "DDR3L" is for low voltage ram which means it runs at voltages between 1.35V and 1.5V.

Is that "guy" allowing you to test? Can you look in de bios at what voltage the current ram is running at?

The rams that I'm currently using are both 1.5V. I haven't tested it yet but based on the manufacturer's website it says it's capable of 1.35V and 1.5V. I was surprised, I've never heard of DDR3L before haha
