Hello all that is a safe link but I will be getting this ram in within the next few days but I am worried about the timings for gaming. There isn't any other option to go for and this will possibly be the first available DDR5 RAM we will get in stock here in Australia.

I am planning to use these for live streaming/gaming until I can get my hands on ram with heatsinks and with better timings/latency. Should I wait? Or will 2 of these sticks be fine for now. Thank you everyone.

Edit reason: The motherboard I will be using is https://rog.asus.com/motherboards/rog-maximus/rog-maximus-z690-hero-model/spec

Solution
How much of a difference would I see in gaming? I game at 4k @60hz.
Probably very little since it's new DDR5 Cas 40 ouch!

For 4K gaming their no way I would get that processor and a 600 1K motherboard with it.

As of right now I would get the 12700K with a lower priced Z690 board that takes DDR4.

It will take DDR5 a while to catch up to DDR4. EDIT it usually takes new memory almost a year to catch up to the previous version this has been true going from DDR2, 3, and 4 so 5 should be no different.

EDIT I see where you live 1K processor and motherboard.

The RTX 3090 is also a big waste of money when you compare it to a RTX 3080ti for gaming your looking at about a 10% performance gain for 1/3rd more money so if you...

The 3090 was designed more toward a workstation card not gaming that's why it has all the Vram.
