I've used the drive for over a year, haven't had any issues with it at all. Recently had a MOBO issue and switched hardware, System booted up fine, displayed correct SSD information. Went to install a game through Microsoft Store and mid download windows update reset the PC. After reboot I was unable to initialize the download, citing too little space. It is now reporting only 244gb, not sure what could be causing this. I've checked for partitions on the drive, at this point i'm at a loss.

So just out of curiosity I checked the QVL list for storage... Dangit the new mobo doesn't support anything higher than the 240gb Model of this ssd, so i'm assuming it's recognizing it as said model just to allow it to operate.

Are there anyways to lock or specify the value at a higher storage capacity?

CT240BX500 Which is the 240gb Model. Again though, this is absolutely the 480GB model, Been using it for quite some time as my stand alone SSD for gaming. It was operating at 480GB until this windows update during a download and since has been reporting this way.
