I've got a pair of these on my main rig (Asus P8Z68 Deluxe, i7 2600K, 16GB Ram). I've chosen to use the Marvell Raid controller that supports 6 Gbps, but I'm not sure that I'm getting the performance metrics I should be seeings. These speeds appear more in line with using only a single SSD and not RAID 0. At the moment. I'm debating if I should rip the raid apart and then just stick the extra SSD into my laptop to boost its performance.

Any thoughts?

Hi poldim!
DO NOT use marvell controller because you are limited to 5gb/s max bandwidth!
so you're getting 2,5gb/s per SSD! which is less than sata II 3gb/s!

your motherboard have 2 x SATA 6Gb/s ports(gray color) which is a part of intel z68 chipset!

also 64K~128K is the best stripe size for your ssd's!😉

do not forget to check for bios and intel chipset driver update! :)
