Almost exactly five years ago I got this SSD, and the other day got a SMART warning.
Checking the data using Crucial's Storage Executive tool, I see that the total bytes written value is 91.
My computer has mostly been on and running constantly since I got the SSD, so I'm not surprised that it's written about 36GB per day on average, and I've bought a Samsung 850 EVO to replace it.
But I'm wondering how long it has left?
Since buying the replacement, I've read The Tech Report's SSD endurance test articles, and all SSDs they tested far exceeded their manufacturer's specified limits.
It seems that the MX100 may have a lot of life left in it, so I'll probably use it to speed up an old laptop.
Does anyone have any experience with the MX100 exceeding its TBW, or am I one of the first?
