Crucial m500 not detected by windows 7

So I got a new a 240GB crucial m500 and it has been installed and is recognised by my bios but windows 7 can't find it for some reason.

All the latest non-beta drivers are installed.
I have;
G1 sniper a88x
AMD a10-6800k
Radeon HD/powercolor 7870 Ghz edition
Hitachi 7200RPM 2TB HDD (from a pre built pc)
8GB of ram (don't know the make or the speed. from a pre built pc)

Click on "Administrative Tools"
Click on "Computer Management"
Click on "Disk Management"

Please let us know if the drive is listed there and whether it indicates your drive is "online" or "offline".
