Crucial MX300 or MX200?

The MX300 was released a few months back they're still cheaper than the MX200. I'm planning to buy a budget SSD so which one should I go for? I'll be taking the 256 GB size, I will use it mostly for storing my OS and gaming.

The mx300 is just as fast as the 200.

It doesn't come in 256gb.

Due to the new bang configuration used on them you get non standard sizes.

You want to be looking at the 275gb model , if that's still cheaper then the mx200 it makes it even better value as you get an extra 20gb.

Where I live MX300 is cheaper and has a few GB more. So for your user case it's a nobrainer.

Yes the MX300 is 275 GB nut is about 15$ cheaper than the MX200. So is the MX200 better than MX300? If it's worth the quality then I can buy the MX200 but if not then I don't want to spend that extra 15$.

Buy the mx300 mate, its a new design & was criticised originally for a change In nand chips.
After testing though it has proved to be just as good as the mx200 & just as fast.

Cheaper, more space - what's not to like ??
If I were buying now its the drive I'd buy myself.
