Question Crucial MX500 Low results

Hi. I just recently installed a Crucial MX500 500GB SSD.
Tested it with crystaldiskmark and got worse results than my 10 year old Vertex 4 except 2 first writes.
Why is that? Broken? All software shows good health. It has the latest firmware.
Tried different cables for both psu and SATA. Nothing helps.

All tests I've seen on MX500 got way better scores.

My rig:
Cpu: AMD FX-9590
Motherboard: Gigabyte 990FXA-UD3
Memory: 16GB DDR3
PSU: Corsair HX 750

try uninstalling your sata driver, on FX CPU it should be AMD sata driver, compare speed with microsoft sata driver

Seems like it was the windows driver installed and running, dated 2006. Installed the sata-driver from AMD for my board but the score seemed to drop even further, in most tests.
Unless its broken, I'm clueless..🤷

Solved it. Seems that I havent tried the right Sata-port in the motherboard. The ones I've tested were set in IDE-mode in BIOS(the other ones were in AHCI). Now the speed is much greater.
