So I saw Amazon pricing for $145+tax for crucial p1 1tb version and was thinking if getting it as a Secondary drive. My main boot OS and softwares I use the Samsung 970 Evo nvme drive and a sata 860 pro for my frequent games and modded games like elder Scholls or fallout series. Right now my 500gb 860 pro is getting full so I would like it get a new higher storages ssd of some sort. I dont want it to be too expansive. Tryna keep my budget less than $160 I guess.

For gaming a NVME will give you pretty much no extra performance over a traditional SATA drive due to how drives read data. If they are similarly priced go for it, but if its a large margin spend the difference on a larger capacity SATA SSD. Just my two cents.
