I looked earlier today and it wasn't there. Tonight Crucial has 256 MB PC2100 DDR DIMMs for $103.50. That's only about $10 per stick more than their PC1600 and about $70 less than the cheapest generic on Price Watch!

I bought 2! I don't know if this is a typo or if this is just the first move down in price, but you gota love it!

Ain't this fun!

Good ol' Crucial. Doesn't try to rip you off like some other companies.

My only concern is that CAS is not mentioned anywhere. What is it for those sticks? I wonder what those who ordered PC1600 from them before got...

There is a article at gamepc.com stating that they ran Crucial PC1600 all the way to 300MHz and at 2/2/2 with no problems. I just ordered PC2100 I plan on putting it at 2/2/2 but no overclocking the speed.

I just got off the phone with Crucial tech support. They stated that all of their DDR memory is CAS 2.5. They expect to have CAS 2 available within 60 days. Still not a bad buy.
