Crucial's X9 Pro 2TB external SSD is now only $119 — fast and portable storage

"but, you aren't going to see prices like that again"

Sure, storage only ever gets more expensive over time.
We've seen this for decades ever since the Commodore 64 was about to cram a 64 TerraByte SSD into an approachable $595 price tag. But nowadays that exact same drive costs over $1800.

Crucial, is ever so good at hiding the TBW numbers in their site. This is the only company now i stop looking at when it comes to all froms of SSD. Be they B and M key sata, M2, external. I dont care.

I am not looking for 15 min each time to find the TBW number, which for me is the only one number i care about.

WD "Gree(d)n" M2 NVMe drives.....100TBW is all you get. It does help to find this number. If you do any work at all on that drive that involves either large file transfers or conversions then you wont even make the 6 month mark.

WD black versions, the larger ones. have 1200 to 2400 TBW. For roughly the same price as that green drive which is anything but green
