[SOLVED] Crushed blacks when PC is connected to LG C9 in full and limited RGB mode.

I have an amd r9 280x and a monitor that supports full rgb, when I have my monitor set to full rgb and go into the radeon software and set the pixel format to full rgb I get blacks just how you are supposed to. I see every box from this link: http://www.lagom.nl/lcd-test/black.php#blacktest.png

When I connect my pc to my tv (lg c9) with hdmi via my av receiver I am not getting the correct color whether I change pixel format to full or limited rgb. When I set it to limited I can see every box from the link above except the top row (boxes 1-5). When I set it to full rgb I can't see boxes in the top three rows (boxes 1-15).

I am not sure how to set up my tv settings correctly because I am pretty sure the lg c9 supports full rgb.

Any ideas?

I am using 1080p resolution on my display settings if that is important.

Do a driver update, or a clean install as I don't think there are any more new drivers for you graphics card. Also, a full spec list would be helpful

Listed specs, anything missing?

I checked and drivers are up to date but I will try a clean install just in case.
