after installation. i realised that the fan on the cooler is blower air towards the front of the case instead of towards to exhaust at the back. Can i just unclip it and put it on the other side or do i need to take the cooler off and do it
You can just remove the fan and flip it around. There should be no need to remove the cooler.
thanks for the fast reply. i have been getting high temps do you think the fan being the wrong way could be a contributing factor. 8600k z370 16gb ddr4 1060 6gb
If its going against the air flow in the case it could most definitely be the cause of the high temps.

I've experienced *cough* a situation where too much thermal paste was causing the temps to be high... ok that was embarrassing... (it was long long time ago before I found the pros on this forum)
