Is the cryorig M9i good for i5 6600k and a small OC?

if not please do tell me a better one..

my budget for my build is $750-800

Sure, but a 212 Evo might give you slightly more performance and a Cryorig H7 will be a really nice choice if you can afford/fit it.

i think ill just get the non K version...

as any cooler goes over budget

If you get the non-K CPU you can save some cash with a cheaper motherboard too, in addition to just using the stock cooler.

No B150 board supports DDR4 2400, you need the Z170 chipset for that. However, you can use DDR4 2400 chips, they'll just run at 2133mhz, which will have a negligible impact on performance.

Z170 boards are much more expensive. B150 start at ~$60, while Z170 start at ~$100.

get the 6600K, don't miss the chance of having a nice unlocked CPU. you can always save $30 and get the Cryorig H7 later. just be conservative with your clock speeds while you save $30!!!!!
