Cryorig R1 Ultimate vs CM V8 GTS (Looks do matter)

I know, I know, its an odd comparison, but I have zeroed down on these two coolers for various reasons:

V8 GTS

• 
  Matches my theme (Black and Red)
  Will add some more Red LEDs to my rig's insides
  Is not locally available where I live and would cost ~$130 including shipping and import
  But man oh man does it look NEAT

Cryorig R1 Ultimate

• 
  Could add the Red plastic Customod parts to match the theme. Additional ~$15-18
  No LED lights
  Locally available in ~$100
  Looks nicer than other brown/beige, silver/metal type coolers but not as COOL as V8

So if I forget about the LEDs, and get the Customods, R1 would cost me ~$120. Not big a difference!

I know in relation to performance, V8 doesn't come close to R1. But I am not much into overclocking, so performance is not my first priority here. I want to find a good balance between looks and performance.

What would you guys suggest? Your pick? Alternatives? anything?

P.S.
* Not a fan of watercooling.
* I could also go for a MasterAir Maker 8 for ~$150, but heard it has RAM clearance and other issues. Also, it looks good but I think V8 looks better. But maybe you can convince me?
