I am supprised that you can play black ops on high with that system :O, you must be playing at a really low resolution?, I would say that you would be fine with crysis 2 on medium/low, that's if you are playing that a low resolution though

Did quick searching on youtube, and they act like you can play it. It's supposed to be demanding.

I will say though, on Battlefield Bad Company 2, that game is very demanding also, and I had trouble running it smoothly with my old Athlon dual core and a GTS 450.

at what resolution you are playing, at 1024x768, this card can crank pretty high settings in crysis 2 and can get 30+ fps.
i am having a screen res of 1360*1260 and i am able to play call of duty black ops with maximum setting like anti aliasing 16x bullet impct and shadow on with smooth fps without any lag will crysis do

low resolution means iam playing black ops at 1368*1068
with all anti alising feature and shadow etc on

lol.you must be able to tolerate low frame rates.I can't tolerate anything less than 25 fps.If you could stand playing black ops at max at that resolution, you could play crysis 2 on very high with similar frame rates

only the resolution doesnt matter u can see the whole game in clarity at 1024*768 provided the game dopesnt lag :fou:
if ur able to play the game at wiyhout any lag then u can run it

the game doesnt lag at all idont even tolerate those laggy games they just frustrate me

yes you are right but you are completely misssing my point....(which btw wasn't aimed at you in particular).

......i just find it funny when i keep reading post after post on forums, you tube, etc etc where ppl claim that they run games MAXED out with wicked FPS but neglect to mention they are playing on low rez's (like 1024X768,1280X1024,1600X900 etc.)

....like i said this isnt a dig at you, its just an observation 😉

if u maxed out the game to ur maximum pc setting all monitor doesnt have hd resolution if they can run the game with their maximum resolution wth out any lag means they CAN RUN IT

download FRAPS.Run it.Start Black ops go into actual gameplay and report the figure you generally get on the top left of your screen

1600X900 a low resolution? .That resolution is slightly less than 1680X1050 which is a pretty demanding resolution

Resolution is part of "maxing out" a a game imo. 1920x1080 is way more demanding than the resolutions you play at. hell, i can max out the first crysis @ 60 fps locked if i only play in 1280x720. that isnt a fair assessment though at that resolution to what my computer can actually do.

Obviously i'm not getting thru to you properly.

My point was.............playing at any resolution below 1920X1080P is NOT MAXING OUT A GAME

I never disagreed with you about your constant mentioning that if a game doesnt lag the pc can run it...

What part of that dont you understand?

I'm pretty sure I'm making myself crystal clear and yet you still came back with a pointless reply repeating what you had said earlier?
