Need advise. I have a desktop with an i5 2500K overclocked at 4.6GHz put together with 2 EVGA GTX 580 3GB graphics cards. OS is running on a 120GB Corsair Force 3 SSD, steam running from another 120GB Corsair Force 3 SSD. I have 16GB of 1600Mhz RAM (4 x 4GB Corsiar Vengence) this is at stock speed. I am running an ASUS MAXIMUS IV GENE-Z/GEN3

Is this setup going to be adequate to run Crysis 3 at full HD with high settings? I have the $ sitting here to replace the CPU with a 3770K and the graphics with a GTX 690 or dual g70's or 680's. But is it worth it? Am I going to see much difference?

Thoughts would be awesome.

Keep what you got its is still a very beastly setup, yes I believe that you setup can run Crysis 3 maxed out 1080p. Keep in mind that the beta did not have support for SLI and is obviously being beta has performance issues.

When time comes Nvidia will release drivers day one of the launch further improving game performance like always

As the others said......keep what you have at the moment. Trust me...2 x 580 are still VERY powerfull (I recently had 1 x 580). I take it you are happy with maxed out performance in other games? 1080p is not really taxing 2 x 580! - I'm sure you have a lot of headroom to go further e.g. 1600p.

You base is also very good - i5 2500k @ 4.6.

Wait till 700 series is released and reviewed then see what you think.
