Crysis will not do 1920x1080

I can do 1680x1050, but not 1080P. I had a 1600x1200 lcd before and it was geting old so I got a 27in samsung p2770. It not that bad, but still. Does crysis just not let you do 1920x1080?

What do you mean by "it will not do 1920x1080"? Does Crysis simply not give you the option (resolution not listed)? Or when you select the option, does it switch back to lower res?

Crysis CAN sometimes be funny about resolutions, Warhead even more so. But be sure they both do 1920x1080. My 1st reaction would be to go to C:\Users\_your_user_name_\Documents\My Games\Crysis and edit the file "game.cfg". No matter where you installed Crysis, you will have this folder and file in your documents. Change the following lines to read:

"r_Width = 1920" and "r_Height = 1080".

Then launch the game. You can also mark the file as read only to prevent Crysis from screwing with it.
