I used the program called crystal disk info and it gave me the following results for
Reallocated sectors count

Current 100 Worst 100 Threshold 05
Raw values 000000010010

Should i be worried?

And Current pending sectors count

Current 100 Worst 100 Threshold 0

Raw 000000000008

Should i be worried . And the hard disk is 3 months old

Hi there,

The results show that there are some bad sectors on the HDD. The drive is considered to be unreliable, thus it can fail at anytime. I would advise you to back up the data that is stored on it. After it is 3 months old, it is most probably under warranty. It may be a good idea to contact manufacturer's support and eventually RMA it.

The Reported Uncorrectable Errors would be more worrisome to me. Notice that the Worst value (1) has hit the Threshold (0) at some time in the past.

Hitachi's raw SMART values appear to be encoded in groups of 8 or 16 bits.

Command Timeout - 0005 0005 0000
Airflow Temperature - 1A 28 0028
Power-off Retract Count - 0000 000A 000A

Therefore I suspect that the Reallocated Sectors Count is 0001 and 0010. These are hexadecimal numbers. Their corresponding decimal values are 1 and 16.

I would be concerned about the G-Sense Error Rate (0x484 = 1156). There appears to be some something in your environment that is responsible for vibration or shock related problems.

Some people would be concerned with your drive's frequent autoparking. The drive has recorded 0x9BC2 Load/Unload Cycles in 0x43E Power-On Hours. This corresponds to 1.6 minutes for each cycle.

Notice also that the Worst value of the Read Error Rate was 76 at some time in the past.

The raw value of Reported Uncorrectable Errors is unclear to me. Based on the other data, I would expect that it consists of three components - 0x89B7 (= 35255), 0x019C (= 412), 0x1279 (= 4729). I suspect that these represent the latest rolling averages.
