Hey jim_ng and welcome to the community.
This seems like a pretty impressive speed for a drive. This is no doubt an SSD? If you have Rapid mode on (depending on the brand of the SSD this will have a different name) based on your drive's performance, you could get results like this, because it uses the RAM as cache and those are not the "real" speeds the SSD is actually capable of. :)
I'd suggest that you try out another benchmark tool to see what results you'll get if you're curious.
