cs:cz widescreen problem

i was playing around with the video settings in cs:cz when i clicked widescreen mode . now in the title screen the words are to big and when i went to change it back to normal the options menu was to big and i can not even get to video settings . i uninstalled and reinstalled the game and then even tried uninstallng and reinstalling steam but it didn't change . is there a way to do this out of the game ? i am useing the downloaded version and not the disc version if that changes anything . thank you for your time
