I have been playing CS:GO (Counterstrike Global Offensive) on steam recently and after about an hour of playing, my caps lock light freezes, the game starts to freeze and skip every so often, making it hard to play properly, and all of my sound gets distorted to static, even my friends on skype get staticy. The only way I have found of fixing this is restarting my computer and even after that, I launch CS and it starts to lag again.
My PC specs are
i5 3570k
GTX 650 Ti Boost
8 gb ram
Also, it isn't an overheating issue, at-least I don't think so because I can play other games without this happening. My GPU stays at a constant 55C+ when playing.

Solution
I too have been having this problem. It seems to mostly fade away after disconnecting 2 of my 3 monitors and then leaving my primary monitor running. My primary monitor uses a mini-Display Port connection to my video card with no active adapter (I do use an active adapter with one of the other displays going from DVI to the active adapter). After unplugging them it seems fine for the most part. This bad stuttering only seems to have been a result of the 12/10/2014 updates and I have been researching it ever since then. I get approximately a 0.75 sec. stutter delay and it happens around every minute or so at least. I run on an SSD and have tried every graphic setting imaginable. I even attempted to use RadeonPro and modify settings in...

I have a friend who has a stupid sensor on the motherboard that goes to 100 degress Celsius and games starts to lag (the rest of the system is cool max 65 deg C when playing). he just opens a sidedoor to the pc for more airflow.

I even attempted to use RadeonPro and modify settings in there for Triple buffering in OpenGL and so forth. No luck whatsoever. What display setup are you using? I've tried nearly every guide that I could find. No viruses, no nothing. I have all of my drivers up to date and have even gone as far as removing any old remnants from the registry. Hope we can figure this one out.
