OK i'm going to try to make this very very simple. Yes you see a lot of pro players play on 400 dpi, that statement makes everybody confuse right ? the reason they play on 400 dpi is first because they have been playing since 10 years ago when they only had low dpi sensors. now why do they play on lower resolutions ? again because they are used to it. i personally play counter strike for over 12 years.
THE ANSWER IS SIMPLE, IT WILL WORK TRY IT
lower general sensitivity is always better YES that is correct so dont go crazy with this.
1: HIGHER DPI OVER HIGHER IN GAME SENSITIVITY
this means that you should keep your sensitivity low but not your in game sens or dpi, it simply means you should always chose dpi over in sensitivity . if you have 500 dpi and 2 game sensitivity (2x500=1000 total) try this : for example : 2000dpi and 0.5 ingame (2000x0.5=1000). See.... total sensitivity is the same but this will be much much much smoother. but dont try this now, wait for the next step >>>>>>>>>
2: DPI DEPENDS ON WHAT RESOLUTION YOU PLAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY
you see pro players play on 400dpi because they also play on lower resolutions.... if you play on 1920x1080 it will seriously be STUPID to go lower dpi because your mouse wont cover all the pixels and your accuracy will be supper bad or if you say its not its because you are used to it but you aren't doing it right !!!
if you do find the TOTAL SENSITIVITY that you are comfortable with (ingame x dpi = total) always try to make dpi higher and in game sensitivity lower but stick to your total sensitivity number !!!!
3: OPTICAL VS LAZER
keep in mind some mouse are optical some lazer, if you have lazer dont even try going lower than 2000dpi because your mouse will just be confused and it will mess up the performance. how ever if you have optical dont go over the manufactors sensor dpi or (NATIVE DPI) this is the default dpi of your mouse, for example my razer deathadder 2013 can go up to 6400dpi or something but the actual native sensor dpi is 1800, so if i go higher it will cause some other problems but trust me it will be VERY SMOOTH either way.
if you have higher dpi and lower in game sensitivity your game will feel like you freaking have 144hz monitor even with 60hz and if you do have 144hz monitor you will just saw WOW
please please please try this lets solve this issue once and for all
