Hello guys. I have not played cs go for a while and thought i'd play some today. When i launch the game, I notice it takes a bit longer for it open than usual. When i think the game has launched, a black screen appears and i can see my cursor but then it tabs down. When i tab the game up again, same thing happens UNLESS I click very fast. For some reason, when I left click a bunch of times during the black screen, I can see the game menu. Weird thing is, my cursor is gone and not inside the game.
I did some stuff and trying to fix it and I found out that my game reacts this way when im not playing in 1920 times 1080 (which is my native resolution). When i play in that resolution, I get no problems. Now you might think "what's the problem if it works", well, you see, I have always played in a certain resolution and I don't like playing cs go in full hd.
It feels wrong and clunky.
Another thing. When i put my game in windowed mode and put the resolution to something like 1024 times 768, i notice that the game doesn't take form in that resolution, it just downscales my native resolution into a smaller window. The quality and graphics is all the same but in a smaller window.
Before you mention, yes I tried reinstalling the game and verify the game cache, it has nothing to do with that.
I have an idea though what might cause this (don't know why though because it's the only game that has this issue).I updated all of my drivers a couple of days ago with a program called "driver booster" by iobit and maybe that somehow messed my cs go up? Well, I have no clue.
Sooo im reaching out to you guys, if anyone got any clue what might cause this strange issue, please tell me
