CS:GO ram speed

So i've heard people are buying faster ram to get more frames in cs:go and upgrading from 1333mhz to 2133mhz and getting 20% fps boost.
is this true? should I upgrade my 1866mhz ram to higher?

I wouldn't. Its not worth it. If anything, it would only be worth it for DDR4 from DDR3, and then you need a new mobo, etc.

DDR4 can have higher capacities and higher speeds. DDR4 goes from 2133mhz to 3200mhz.

I can not say it makes a massive difference unless your system is RAM-starved.
