If anything, it would only be worth it for DDR4 from DDR3, and then you need a new mobo, etc. how much better is DDR4 compared to DDR3 if they would be running at the same speed? DDR4 can have higher capacities and higher speeds. DDR4 goes from 2133mhz to 3200mhz. I can not say it makes a massive difference unless your system is RAM-starved.
