CS:GO Vsync broken? My fps doesnt stop at 60...

With vsync on my CS:GO is around 280-320 fps no matter what and id like for it to be at 60 i do "Max_fps 60" and it only works till I close the game.
i do not have one on on msi afterburner or nvidia control panel

Are you using the in game Vsync option, or from your GPU's control panel? Often, V-sync doesn't force on from the control panel option. At least with AMD. With Nvidia, Vsync won't work with a FPS limiter on.

You should have it in your 3D settings in Nvidia control panel. Scroll down the list and find Vsync. Should let you change it to adaptive,application controlled and on.

2 things you can try,

Uninstall & Reinstall your graphics drivers.

Try and delete your Config file from the CS:GO and then go to steam and Verify Integrity of game cache (Remember to grab your Autoexec file if you have one)

Also double check your Set launch Options for CS:GO and make sure there are no commands there that setting it back.

Adding the fps command in the autoexec file is a good fix it seems thanks for all the help guys.
