[SOLVED] CSGO low fps with decent computer

I have low fps in CS:GO even when I have decent computer.

Any ideas how to fix this?

That framerate is completely fine :/

I have people telling me that their fps is 300-400 with worse hardware than me, so I don't think it's that good.

Maybe 1440p is too much resolution, and maybe the people who said you that they are getting 300-400fps with worse hardware are just lying. I have a i7 6700k and a GTX 1070 on a 1080p/240Hz monitor, didn't waste my time to adjust the settings for the best while still over 240FPS but just set everything to medium and voila, I got +240FPS.
