Budget is way way way too low...You need to save quite a bit more.

If you could boost your budget up to £120 - £140 (I'm from UK so prices will vary) then we could talk about gaming but for $80 there's not much you can do

Increase to $150 and I think it'll work.

Desktop? Does the monitor have to fit in your budget?

Alternatively, do you have access to any free systems you can upgrade? (Business throw-outs, etc)

I would say its possible, maybe not to build one, but to get one its certainly possible. Try your luck on craigslist for a low end or budget gaming PC.

CSGO is not hard to run, as long as it has a midrange graphics card from the past 6 years, and a quad core or fast dual core you should be able to get playable FPS. this is assuming you dont need peripherals.

Find PC in your budget, look up what fps others get with similar components. happy hunting.
