I know morrowind is not the most stable game in the world (with having to
remember all the things you have done/are doing/might do plus all the trash
you have left around the world its understandable), but has anyone noticed a
Crash To Desktop when killing several NPCs in quick succession? (one of
those things I do when I get tired of being their delivery boy :) )

does the morrowind engine not know how to cope with too many 'severed
threads'?

It seems as though I can litter the lanscape with about 20 c. racers but get
five or six NPCs dead in a room and there's trouble.

just curious

speaking of 20 c. racers, has anyone ever tried to see how many you can get
following you while flying around the continent? If done properly they do
follow you into new zones.

I used to have that problem with one of my old motherboards, with
integrated RealTek Sound. There seemed to be glitch transitioning
between the combat music, and the traveling music, if combat ended
too quickly. It only happened indoors though. Turning off the music
entirely solved it.

Wow! Interesting.

I was walking along the West Gash just a few days ago and i paused for
a second to catch my breath when four cliff racers decended at once!
I couldn't believe it. Four cliff racers had snuck up on me and
assaulted me at thes ame time -ridiculous!

One thing I noticed was that if you dispose of a body while there is
still a magic effect on you from the deceased, the game almost always
crashed. This showed up a bit from the assassins.

Hi,

Yes it sometimes craches to the desktop. I believe it happens more often
when you kill NPC's quickly. It seems to crash always at the same place. I
believe the file it crashes in is called graphflt.cpp or something.

Regards, Ron AF Greve.

Interesting. I'll have to try that. I once killed 7 of them with a
single spell...
