Sometimes, when fs2004 crashes to desktop, it seems to make a memory dump
and want to send some informations to microsoft.
Is there any chance to disable this, so that it "just" crashes without this
time-consuming memory dump?

Thanks,
Jan

I didn't know that was even there.
Thanks, Carl.

Thanks Carl, but unfortunately this seems not to work. I already
had the windows error reporting disabled, but this option seems
not to correspond with the FS game. It still makes that memory
dump during crashes. Any other ideas? Don't pass the chance to

What comes to mind next is you are seeing a Dr. Watson crash log being created.
http://www.microsoft.com/resources/documentation/windows/xp/all/proddocs/en-us/drwatson_logfile.mspx
Under the same place I sent you to last time click on Settings in the Startup and Recover group. Check or uncheck the
checkboxes in the System Failure group as desired.

This indicates you are getting a serious crash though. So save your last Dr. Watson file so we can look at it to
determine what is going wrong on your machine.
