Sorry if this is the wrong thread for this, but I've been looking for this computer a long time. It was the first PC I ever owned. It was a beige minitower with a blue front bezel. Every time I look for Win95 machines it's either a Gateway or Packerd Bell, but CTX I cannot find.

Any Ideas? Just collecting for nostalgic purposes.

Sadly the earliest I can find is a Dec '98 capture showing off their Win98 Pentium II machines.
Mostly just about finding the model number, then you actually have something to search for now and then.

That said, your chances of finding one is slim to none.

And cases of that era had abysmal airflow.

CTX was merely 1 of hundreds. Nothing special.
And with period specific hardware inside, pretty useless.
While I do agree, just having it as some sort of collectible item can be fairly neat. If you get tired of it taking up unnecessary space, do some case modding and turn it into a sleeper or chuck it back in a landfill.

Very neat find. Thank you so much, if only it went back 2 more years. The windows 95 machine was much more stylish. After that they went to bland beige boxes.

Casemod would be just salvaging the front cover, for the look. The rest of it is just a bland metal box.

Yeah the model I'm looking for is before ATX so the case wouldn't fit anything modern and I'd have to do some serious modding to get the front cover to fit anything else probably.

The old dell dimension PCs (2400 or similar) is the easiest if you're wanting to build a sleeper. Currently have one with a Ryzen 7 in it lol.

Or dremel out the insides of the old dog and mount an ATX/mATX tray (depending on how big the case is) :p
... And hope it doesn't just turn into a wobbly box with a metal sheet inside of it. Still would need to fix airflow somehow, anyway.
