Curious about upgrading my motherboard

I'm upgrading my mobo very soon and am a bit unclear of the process and steps I need to take. Is a full reinstall of windows 10 recommended? I had windows 8.1 and did the free upgrade when it was available. Also, I have my OS on an ssd, while many of my games are on my HDD. Will I need to reinstall those games when I upgrade my mobo, or will I still be able to play them after I connect my HDD? Any help is appreciated, thank you.

You don't necessarily have to do a clean install of Windows but it's probably easier if you do, and your HDD will still work the same as before. You don't need to do any changes.
