Asrock B365M Pro4 motherboard
Raidmax P805 case

Currently I am in the middle of building a computer and as its my first time, I am quite confused as to how to connect things.

At the moment I bought a Raidmax P805 case which has an ARGB LED strip and comes included with a single ARGB fan. I also bought an Asrock B365M Pro4 motherboard. In the manual, it has numerous headers. My case cme with the cables coming from the front area with the LED strip connected with the cable from the included ARGB fan.

Would it be adviseable to reconnect the cables from the fan and LED strip together and power them both with the SATA power cable? If so, would I also need to connect any other cables to any other powers to power on the lighting?

If I understand this situation correctly your case does not come with any manual and you can't download one. As your motherboard manual indicates, motherboard connectors 6, 9 and 23 are intended for rgb lights. Since connector 6 is missing 1 pin it would most likely go with the plug on the upper right in the picture which is also missing 1 pin. The largest connector in the middle bottom of the picture is a sata power connector which would most likely be connected to a sata power cable from your power supply. The remaining 4 pin cables appear to be a problem since they seem to be designed for socketed jacks and connectors 9 and 23 on your motherboard appear to be pins expecting a socketed cable. Same for the 3 pin socket marked VDG that might be a fan connector but you would have to trace it down to its other end to make sure. If its connected to a fan you most likely would connect it to one of the chassis fan connectors on the motherboard using the 3 pins on the right side of the connector as shown on page 21 of your motherboard manual. The picture isn't clear about the plug in the upper left corner; that might be the 9 pin usb connector which would go in socket 18 or 19 on your motherboard but its not clear from the picture.

These other 4 are connected to the front panel of the case that has an ARGB triangle LED.

These 2 cables being the ones on the far right from the original first picture with all 6.

The VDG cable seems to have 2 metal pins instead of 3 (1 hole being empty it seems)

These last 2 are what seems to be the aforementioned SATA power cable and the 4 pin head in the center of the 6 of the first picture.

Hopefully that helps a bit more.

Upon receiving the case, the cables came connected like this.

With these last 2 being separate.

So the VDG cable would go on pins 1 and 2 of a chassis fan connector as shown on page 21 of the motherboard manual. The 4 hole socket cables would appear to go on the pins of connectors 9 and 23 on the motherboard but the challenge is figuring out which end of the connector goes on pin 1 which is the 12 volt line as shown in the motherboard manual. At this point I would say the only safe connection is the sata power cable since that only goes on 1 way due to the unique shape of the sata connector.
